Night Sky
By Susan Yankowitz

Aug/Sep 2008
Produced in partnership with The San Diego Brain Injury Foundation

In memory of Joseph Hiel

Mo`olelo's next production will be Susan Yankowitz's captivating play about brain injury, Night Sky. Internationally produced and acclaimed, it is the drama of an astronomy professor who is rendered aphasic after suffering a concussion in a car accident. The play explores the relationship between the black holes in the cosmos and the black holes in the mind; the poetry of unconventional language; and the ways in which all of us struggle to communicate the thoughts and feelings locked within our most private selves.

Online ticket sales will begin in May, but you can order an advanced ticket voucher, good for any performance of Night Sky, for the reduced price of $18 by calling 619-342-7395.
